Luke's psychedelic gate of dawnIn loving memory of Benito the Cat September 16 the day before tomorrowlast night before i will turn to 30...
i've got so many thoughts in my head. it's a vertigo that is fucking up my brain. who am I? why am I here? what am I gonna do of the rest of my life? bah!!
The only thing I know, is that whatever I am, it's because of you all. You all around the world. You all my friends are the responsables for what I am. For the happy moments that we shared, for our tearse in the sad moments, for our undertandings and our misunderstandings... from my first love (Paula, sigo piensando en ti) to my closest friends... some of them that I have never seen in person... and some of them wich i will meet again only when stars will fall down and the moon will turn into red... too all of you, thank you very much. In the quiet of my lonely room, all your names gather up together into an incredible sinphony to form what I am. And I like what it comes out.
thank you very much again.
From Australia (oops, sorry I mean OZ...hehehehe Peta and Teresa my aussie teachers!!) to Venezuela, from USA to Russia, from Argentina to New Zealand, from France to Canada (oops!! again, sorry Jan, I mean Quebec) from Costa Rica to Norway ( Wax rocks!!) from Germany ( ty Master!!!) to Holland (don't stop to dream John!), from Austria (I miss you Lucia) to Spain... all over the world, my world, our world.
And offcourse to my brothers and cousins.
Thank you to all of you.
i love you all

July 29 Mistic RomeWhat happens when you don't have to do anything and you have a lot of time?
I don't know, but i don't have to do anything so that's why I decided to take a few days of rest after summer exams and relax a little.
You are probably asking why i called this shit "mystic rome"... well it's easy, I didn't knew what title i could use... so since i wanted to catch your attention... I can't wright free boobs or free pussy... so don't complain. :p
Anyway, as I said before, I had a free saturday, so I decided to be a tourist in Rome... yeah I know, I live in Rome... so what?
Outside of the southern part of the city, there is an ancient roman city called Ostia. This was the ancient harbour of the capital of the empire. If you wanna know how was a roman city, you can do 2 things... travel back in time with a time machine or visit Ostia!
I suggest to load in your mp3 player Pink Floyd, Camel and Caravan early albums... in the silence of the ruins you will feel like being out of time and in another planet. A real fantastic experience. Something to be really done.
Don't forget to bring water with you, cause there is only one store where is available buying drinks... and also expensive...this is when you realize you are back on earth :p

July 20 Genesis 07-14-2007Fantastic night in Rome, thankfull to the british band Genesis.
A terrific performace made by the trio!! First time for me, never seen em before, and I'm very happy I had the opportunity to be part of the music hystory: Genesis played in front of 500.000 people and i was very close to the stage ( check the pics ). Phill was in a fantastic mood and was able to play with the audiance just like a great frontman does. It was fucking funny when he spoke italian :p and the stage was the state of the art. Acoustic was simply perfect, and most of all... IT WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! LoL
The concert has been recorded and it's gonna be available in cd/dvd for sail in spring 2008. Can't wait for it!!!
It's allready available in the net, a preliminary bootleg of the concert, the quality is "audiance" not very good, but still it's possible to hear the great job the guys did.
So if there is someone outhere, log into emule, and dowload it!!
That's all faulks!!!
Luke
PS - check this video of the show... (I'm gonna post em when i find em)
February 26 CROSSROADSCredo che dopo 5 mesi di silenzio posso anche ricominciare a scrivere qualcosa...

Mi interessa spiegarvi oltre? mmmmm....
Ciò che mi preme dirvi cari lettori è che ho scoperto
WE INTERRUPT THIS BLOG COMMENT TO INFORM YOU THAT THE BLOG IS NOWADAY GOING TO BE IN ENGLISH. THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO READ ENGLISH, WELL... YOU CAN GO FUCK YOURSELF!

A presto!

July 13 A new star shines in the sky...SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND
SYD BARRETT DIES AGED 60
It is with great sadness that we report that Syd Barrett, the former lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of Pink Floyd, has died at the age of 60.
Syd died peacefully at his home in Cambridge after suffering from complications related to diabetes. There will be a private family funeral.
David Gilmour recently paid tribute to his old friend Syd by including the classic songs Arnold Layne and Dominoes in the set-list for the On An Island tour. He will be much missed, though his influence remains.
The following is an extract from UK trade paper Music Week's daily news page:
Pink Floyd founding member Syd Barrett has died at his Cambridgeshire home from what is believed to be complications from diabetes. The 60-year-old, who suffered a breakdown in the Sixties following his use of LSD, had been a virtual recluse for more than three decades after completely withdrawing from the public spotlight in the early Seventies. He passed away last Friday, although news of his death has today only been announced.
Pink Floyd issued a statement saying, "The band are naturally very upset and sad to learn of Syd Barrett's death. Syd was the guiding light of the early band line-up and leaves a legacy which continues to inspire".
Barrett penned their first two hit singles, Arnold Layne (which reached number 20 in the UK) and See Emily Play (a UK number six), while their first album The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn followed later in 1967. However, their third single Apples And Oranges reflected Barrett's worsening mental state. David Gilmour joined the line-up in February 1968, giving rise to suggestions [that] Barrett would follow the example of Brian Wilson and stop touring with the band to concentrate on his songwriting. Instead, his departure from the band was announced the following April. The last Floyd album he appeared on was their second set, A Saucerful Of Secrets, released in July 1968.
Work then started on his first solo album, The Madcap Laughs, which made it to number 40 in the UK chart in February 1970. A second album, Barrett, followed, but an attempt to return to recording in 1974 ended in failure.
Despite being a recluse since the mid-Seventies, Barrett remained an inspirational figure to many musicians. His legacy was felt in recent solo gigs this year by David Gilmour who in one concert at London's Royal Albert Hall performed Barrett's Arnold Layne with David Bowie during the encore.
Roger "Syd" Barrett January 6, 1946 - July 7, 2006 Rest in peace Farewll Syd... you crazy diamond
